Do you worry about the impact our single use plastics have on the environment? Would you like to make something that will help in your quest in lowering the amount of single use plastic you use in your home?
Then join me on this Eco workshop where we will be making beeswax wraps which you can use instead of clingfilm, foil or sandwich bags to protect your food.
These are great for wrapping round your cheese to keep it fresh, to use as a covering on a bowl or container especially your tupperwear items that you can never find a lid for!
During the workshop you will make two round and one square and one oblong wrap.
here are the dimensions of each wrap
1 x 35cm x 35cm
1 x 25cm x 30cm
2 x 25cm circular
We will be using cotton fabric and food grade ingredients to make the wraps. You will be given instructions how to care for your wraps so they keep in good condition. The session will last approximatley 1 hour and 30 mins.
All materials are supplied as are light refreshments, however you will need to bring your iron along with you to enable you to make the wraps.
