Join me for a crochet workshop where you will learn how to make a granny square blanket. The granny square makes a beautiful blanket, or you can make smaller squares and create clothes, cushions and even bags. 
You can create so many different patterns and designs once you have the basic skills to create a granny square.
 
So whether you are new to crochet or can already crochet but would like to learn something new you will be able to do this.
 
The Granny square can be made as one big continuous square or you can do small individual squares that have to be joined together. 
During this workshop you will be making one large granny square blanket. I will show you the basic stitch and then we can get started on your new blanket. The workshop will last 3 hours so you have plenty of time to get the hang of it and enjoy a sociable session with fellow crocheter’s. Tea, coffee and cake will be served too.
 
The fee includes your tuition, 5 balls of DK wool in your choice of colour a crochet hook and your refreshments and written instructions to take away with you. You will be able to choose your colours from the selection we have in stock.
With this new skill you will be able to make the smaller squares to make a blanket
And then if you wish to you can book on the joining up granny squares workshop where You will be shown  how to join them together. These do look lovely when made up.
A basic knowledge of crochet is best when learning how to do the granny square
There are only 6 spaces available per session to allow plenty of individual attention if needed. If you would like to do one of these classes but unable to attend the set sessions please get in touch and I will try to arrange a time to suit you.
