Doing it for charity

My crochet hook is working overtime! I have made another two blankets to add to the sale pile, a lovely cot sized blanket and another square blanket ideal for everyday use with the car seat and great for the Moses basket/crib too.

Last month I managed to sell 3 items, it is a slow process but I'm sure I will manage to raise my target of £250.

I am currently working on a bright and colourful rainbow blanket in the wave stitch, this would make a great gift for someone as a lap blanket.

I love making the baby blankets as its a great way for me to try out new stitches especially as they are smaller projects than the big throws!

We had our first crochet workshop since lockdown in 2020, there were six ladies who came along and it was great to be with people and teaching again. There are new beginner workshops in the planning too so if you are local and wish to book a place, subscribe to the website so you can be kept updated with all new events.

If you want to try the 3D stitch, which is the main stitch used on the yellow and white blanket here is a link to the wonderful Donna Wolfe of Naztazia https://www.facebook.com/naztazia/posts/5796543913705141

All the blankets and Items I make are now available in the online shop. To see the running total pop on over to the facebook page where it is regularly updated with new makes and the amount raised so far.
